I came from Idaho to Eugene and woke up to a flat tire. I hurried to Les Schwab who refused to fix said tire because the front and back tires did not match. I guess they have a policy about different ply? I know nothing about tires. I next went to discount tires on West 11th in Eugene Oregon. I purchased 4 new BFG Long Trail from Discount on 5-21-2014. The price for each tire was 177.oo. They came with a 60,000 mile warranty. They completely wore out at 37,000 miles with 2/16 tread left. That means that they were wore out at 60% of their useful life. When I went to Discount to buy new tires they told me they would only give me a 40.00 credit for each tire. I believe they should have given me a 70.00 credit on each tire as per the warranty. I guess if you read the small print and the B.S. that no one can understand on prorated... Read more

Don't bother making an appointment you still end up at the end of the line. I had to wait over an hour for a tire I ordered a week before, I even left the rim . They told me it would be mounted and balanced when I came to pick it up , that didnt happen. They are rude and unprofessional and that was the manager and assistant. I will NEVER GO BACK TO DISCOUNT TIRES. Add comment

Checked in for a basic maintenence interval rotation/balance of my tires in the middle of the afternoon and no notice was given of the excessive amount of previously sheduled appointments for these same services, the lobby only had 1 other customer, and the check in representative said wait time 1-1.5 hours? Really? I thought they were off on wait times, but all the cars in the lot were all cars in which had appointments and were dropped off. I had a blow out and went to them to get a Replacement tire. I have an 18 inch BBS CHR with 56mm Red and Gold centrex caps. They had to order another tire so I left wheel with them. Next day picked it up and went home. Upon arrival noticed BBS red Center caps and BBS valve caps were missing. I went right back and told them these are missing. I was told they were never on when I brought the tire in. These are less then a year old wheels I am maticulous over and know they were. Appears DT wants to use USPostal Service as preferred means of delivery of rebate request so it can delay delivery of promised rebate. How unlikely can it be that when I fill in Invoice #, date of service & phone # that my record does not appear in "their system?" Every transaction is input immediately into "their system". This is simply a ploy to to force us to mail in our rebate request rather than online with the hope that a long delay in delivery of rebate will allow us to forget about it. Had a guy tell my husband that I okayed a pair of very expensive tires. When I called proior to my appointment time.I told the guy specifically that my husband was going to make the final decision on tires and I was just pricing them. These guys are criminals! Not to mention extremely rude. Don't waste you time or money. Go somewhere their sales associate are honest. Add comment

My wife and I walked into Discount Tire at 105 Bleachery Blvd in Asheville, NC to talk to a sales rep about purchasing tires for my 1970 GTO show car. There was one sales person there at the time so I decided to wait and see if another sales would be come in to help the other out with customers. 20 minutes passed and the wife and I didn't even get a hint of being recognized by the sales rep, to me that was very unprofessional and rude. They should put more info on the online application process. You apply and have 2 wait 2 weeks to find out if your approved. They took so long i decided to purchase tires from peerless tires since they give you same day response on application i now cancelled my card and wont ever do business with a company that takes its time.
