We brought our Isuzu NPR to the Glendale Heights Discount Tire for a new tire. We had called three different Discount Tire stores before finding this one who could do the work as they all said it is a "tricky vehicle to work on."

Our technician went to the store.

45 minutes later, he called me to say that they were not able to remove the tire as "..lugnuts are spinning". So we had to take the vehicle to another tire place that could do the job. As our driver drove to the other place, he noticed that the brake pedal was compressing more to the floor, and this was concerning as it was not like that when he got to Discount Tire. The ABS light then went on.

He was close to the other tire place so he finished the drive. The other tire place told him immediately after getting his tire off that it appeared as though his brakes were damaged. There was fluid leaking, etc. We had it towed back to our mechanic.

We alerted Discount Tire and they said "we din do nuffin." We ended up with $2000 worth of brake work.

I called corporate and explained the situation. I was asked to file a claim.

The claim was denied. Discount Tire said that they had investigated themselves and found that they didn't do anything.

We've purchased tires from Discount Tires for many years, but will not give them another dollar.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
